2009 QUILT SHOW

Thanks to many of you who are “renewing” your positions for Quilt Show 2009, and those of you who have stepped up to the plate and offered your help, many of the positions are filled!  However, the coveted title/position of “Quilt Show 2009 Co-Chair/2010 Quilt Show Chair” (nice title, eh?) is STILL open, unbelievable as that may seem!  There are a couple other key positions open, and it’s still a “call me before I call you” scenario!

 The key this year is STREAMLINING!  We are excited about the results of the brainstorming sessions and the single Quilt Show meeting that has been held – we are streamlining the kitchen, ballots, registration and a few other things to make the process easier and more fun for all.  Stay tuned – more info to follow! 

Our theme is “Generations of Quilting”, and I am in “negotiations/discussions” with our own Gayla Massey and her family. 

The next Quilt Show Committee meeting will be Thursday, July 17 at Heirloom Quilts at 6:30.  Unfortunately I won’t be able to attend the June University Meeting, as we are taking our kids on a celebratory mini-vacation in honor of my son’s graduation from NKHS.

 If you have any questions or have simply been forgetting to call me about the Co-Chairing position, call me.  I promise it will be fun, and there could be a t-shirt or even a “co-crown” in it for you!
